For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2013 Posts: 4 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Apr 2013 Posts: 4 | I am converting my 1949 3100 to 4wd. I would like to have used Napco axles but I couldn't find any narrow enough. I found some 1942 Dodge WC axles that fit almost perfect except I have to do a spring over suspension with them. The only problem is the rear sits much higher then the front. Does anyone know what springs were used on the Napco trucks or if they were spring under or over. Also does anyone sell lower rear springs or taller front springs that would make the truck sit level. Thank you for the help.
