| | | | Joined: May 2013 Posts: 6 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: May 2013 Posts: 6 | my fire department is the proud owner of a 1937 chevrolet/sanford fire truck. restoration is in progress, however the motor is bad. i have access to what i believe is an early '40s gmc 6.would the swap be possible? and would the head from the 216 fit the 235? the head has been redone for the new garbage fuel we are now required to use. any information would be sincerly appreciated. also would the transmissions be compatable? thanks | | |
