Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 10,272 Renaissance Man | | Renaissance Man Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 10,272 | I would suggest that you buy an extra set of the rubber ones for the glove box as they wear out and will cause a misalignment in the shifter box causing your transmission to lock up in gear. If this happens you can open the hood and manually line up the column shifter arms and unlock it. I made mine out of brass. I now have a better feel of how everything moves during a shift and they won't wear out.
