I've taking the tranny out and loosen the crank bearing caps to give me more room. HOW MUCH CAN THE CRANK DROP WHEN LOOSEN? I got it to drop about 1/8" I've tried to pry it gently to bring it down some more but that all I got. Is that the most I can get? I just can't get the rope seal to insert in the groove of the upper bearing cap it's to tight and not enough clearance betweeen crank and cap. | | |
