I took Ol' Darrell on the first shakedown run yesterday. It was a 22 mile run to the courthouse to get tags. other than the consistent starter problem (won't engage the flywheel very well) it drove fine. I was afraid to go over 45 - 50 because she was really buzzing at that speed! It must be pretty low geared. Anyway, the drive went well. Any ideas on this starter problem? It is a '58 Apache with the 235 foot controlled starter.
