| | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | yes, a "dry fit" is always a good place to start ... problem with shaving the sides of the boards is the spacing of the grooves for the skid strips needs to be just so or the skids won't lay right, and if yours is too tight just at one end the grooves won't be parallel, maybe you need to spread the bottom of the bed sides a bit at the front?
