You might want to consider the early 2 speed "toggle type" swiches which control fan speed on the defroster and heater motors.(one swicth each)...has either a black or ivory plastic toggle with either "heat' or defrost" embossed on it. They bolt to the underside of he dash. Golden State sells them and/or they come up on ebay regularly.
