I took a look at the wiring schematic and realized it was actually quite simple. I bought wire, terminals and rewired my truck myself. Simply did one wire at a time. The most difficult part was wiring the dash because of access.
I don't know if a 59 would be more complex than my 49 but I think its worth a try.

I'm not sure when you wired yours, but there are a lot of simple kits that have been released in the last year or two for those not needing circuits for accessories. All the major wiring harness vendors have them now.
