I noticed the other day that the heat riser spring on my 216 was no longer there. A small piece is stuck in the slot of the pin, with a single turn still wrapped around the pin. I've been soaking it with PB blaster. The heat riser itself turns freely.
Does anyone have a tip for removing it from the slot without messing up the pin? Since the engine is in the truck, it's a little tricky to get to it.
