I have one on my '56 GMC 2-ton. An 8" with the 4 steel balls so it dings every 1/4 turn of the wheel. Loud enough to get peoples attention and looks pretty good.
I find them on eBay now and then, and there are a couple companies that still sell them in 6 and 8 inch sizes. Tri Lite is one, I'll have to dig around to find the other that makes them in chrome.

There's a 6" chrome bell on eBay with the mounting hardware (usually missing on used bells).

I dig all cars, old and new, whether they were hammered out of American iron, German steel, or Japanese tin cans. Being unable to appreciate them all is missing out on a world of great things.
