there isn't any difference among senders if they're not defective, but NAPA #TS6469 is what you want ... the "problem" is the gauge, they're not precision instruments, just meant to warn of sudden deviation from "normal" - you need to check actual temps around the rad in and out to compare so you know what the gauge is telling you - if it's reading too close to the top when things are right you might try carefully bending the needle back a bit
