Does anyone know what the function of the reversing switch is,and is it nescessary? It is supposed to be on the primary side of the ignition between the switch and the coil on the positive side. I don't believe mine had one {Can't remember it's been too long} and I am not finding one with my stuff. Also would it hurt my 6 volt ignition coil to run briefly on 12 volts, I don't think so but don't want to damage my original coil. Thanks, Scott
