This is the best I can get as far as being able to read my Tag, it does appear to be a Chev badge not a GM it looks to be red (at least at the top) with Chevrolet in the Bow tie logo, the only other bits I can make out is the word Manufactured under the logo and then it looks to have had codes printed on the badge under this. The XHMS 34053 looks to be the only thing stamped into the badge it doesn't look as if there has ever been anything raised.
I am keen to see any tags that look like this style that are clear to read
