Thanks everyone for the tips on first starting..it fired up today on the second try..had the 12 volts connected and everything timed and gapped, only ran for fifteen or twenty sec...as we haven't hooked up the new gasloine..the orig had sprung a leak...drip drip..no good. But at leat heard the motor start...made my day..ha! bruce d.
