| | | | Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,337 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,337 | 1955 was a change over year, early had shims on the mains and later did not. The Neoprene seal does not work well with the shim style.
I second the Best Gasket seal if your engine has shims on the mains.
