Be careful drilling, measure and check underneath.....several times. The antenna I got From fleabay had a template that looked like a photocopy. AFTER drilling I found the hole was behind the inner fender support not in front. Had it not been for some creativity and a Karmann Ghia antenna base I would have been in for some body and paint work. I ended up with a parts store top mount antenna with the Ghia angled chrome base. Looks fine but what a panic.
