I ordered the disk brake conversion kit for the front brakes, with the new hubs, and roller bearings. My truck had the 6 lug hubs and that's where the problem occurred. The hubs they sent were 5 lug. The rotors and spacers they sent were the right ones 6 lugs. The brake hoses had 10 mm fittings, again not the right ones for the 55 truck.
The items look good, but I can't tell you how the installation went because I still don't have the right parts. I ordered the parts on January 31.
oh and by the way on Feb 18 I ordered some fittings for the power brake booster from CPP, and I' m still waiting for those parts.
The Power brake booster is a CPP product but I didn't order it through them, it was a E bay purchase, from a seller "911". Shipping was fast and install went great, about a 100 dollar cheaper then buying direct from CPP. The reason I didn't buy from 911 was he didn't have the 6 lug hubs and couldn't get them. It seems like 911 sells maybe surplus items from CPP, not sure but it was new in an unopen box.
