In inspecting under the dash of my 55-1, I find that I have no tubes leading from the heater to the defroster ducts. The heater (a recirculating type) has a round outlet on the left but it ends there.

My impression is that there must have been some sort of "y" fitting to split the output to two tubes that went to the defroster ducts. I see the parts catalogs show repacement ducts and tubes, but no "y" shaped fitting. Am I missing something? Is this one of those odd parts that it not reproduced?
