What is the best primer/sealer/paint system to use over bar metal? I have been working on panels as I have time and used some spray-can primer on several of the pieces to buy me some time. Once I decide on a sealer/primer system, do I need to sand that back down to bar metal or can I scuff and prime over that? I am finished with the body work on the cab and am ready to move forward with the primer/sealer. I'm not looking for a show truck, just simply restoring a '56 task force for a daily driver. However, I do want a decent job for mid-range price (if that's possible). I have an HVLP gun, compressor, and the equipment. I just need opinions for which direction I need to go! Thanks
