Hello. I'm new to the site. About a month ago, I retrieved a 1953 Chevy 3100 my dad bought when I was 13 yoa from the shed it had been in for the last 20 years (where I parked it after high school). The body was/is in decent shape but the engine needed work and electrical was basically gone. A month later, the electrical is back and it's running again (with the help of a friend). I'm finding that 1. not a good idea to park a pickup in a shed open to all kinds of animals in Texas, 2. I probably wasn't as involved in the original restore as I thought I was (I was 13 after all). The truck is a ton of fun and I'm looking forward to sharing the process with my son. Also, looking for help from the site.
