Sorry, I didn't mean it wasn't useable. The ad makes some mention of a volume control associated with the amp but there is no reason why you couldn't use the one in your I-pod. If it were me, I would want control of the tone and the split of left and right channels. Can you do that with your I-pod? I don't own one.
