OK, It looks like the original stake body will be mounted on a modern tip/slide sub-frame.
Now for transmission information (should this be another thread?)
What, if ever, was the first year that Chevy mated a straight 6 with an automatic trans on a 1-1/2 or 2 ton.
If never, what was the earliest engine/automatic combination in this weight class.
