I'm Tim from Belleville, Ill. (10 miles southeast of St. Louis, Mo.)
I'm in the process of building a '58 Apache short-bed Fleetside with my 16-year-old daughter for her to enjoy! The body is off and on jigs, and I recently had the frame stripped, epoxy primered and painted. We just hung front suspension It's been subframed with a '73 Camaro front clip). The rear differential / leaf springs are next on the agenda. (I've been reading about the different rear ends that may have gone under the truck; I can tell you it has a Dana 45 with Traction Lok and 3.92 gears).
I'm looking forward to joining this community -- there's a ton of great info here, and I like the willingness of members to help each other.
