If you have an "1957 235 out of a Belair", it has the "848" head, and the engine has hydraulic lifters.
Also, does anyone know if only the Powerglide 235s after 1956 used those "special" valves, or, did all 1956 and later car engines (which all had hydraulic lifters) use those "special" valves?
