What does this harness consist of? On my 53 its just a fire waiting to happen and I dont want all my hard work to burn down. Does it replace every wire on the truck?

Here Does it make a difference of you have an alternator or a generator? If you go to an alternator later what can you or do you have to do?
It doesn't matter as far as the kit is concerned ... but if you're going to go with an alternator, I would do that when I do the wiring kit and be done with it; do it right the first time out.
Did you wire them yourselves? Was it realatively easy?
Did it all myself. Yup. And it was fun! It looks daunting when you get the kit -- but plan each wire before you start ... know what you are
going to do before you do it ... then take
one wire at a time and it's easy as pie.
Did you buy the kit right off the site (or where?)? Which kit did you guys buy?
