don stocker Shop Shark D Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 2,544 osceola, wi	I agree that a ring can and may rotate some on a piston. My opinion is that the ring material is harder than the aluminum most pistons are made of, if the rings were spinning and turning on the piston the ring lands in the pistons would wear and cause problems. Just my opinion on the subject.
