I live in Crowell (between Vernon & Paducah). I have a '54 3600 that does not run. It did run when I purchased it 7 years ago. However, a couple years ago my son used it for a few days and... Nuff said!!!
The truck has sat until now as I got busy renovating a building in town for a restaurant. The engine does attempt to turn over, just won't catch. I believe it will be a fairly simple fix (e.g., bad gass, carb adjustment).
That is where I am today. As much as I would like to play around and figure this out, the restaurant is now open and am working 16-17 hours days, six days a week and just don't have time.
So, does anyone live near Crowell, and if so would you be willing to help me out. Or lend a trailer so I can tow it to Vernon - a mechanic there said he is willing to take a look at it and see what he can do.
