Have any of you guys with finished 55-59 Stepside trucks used hidden tailgate hardware? If so what type system did you use? Cables, folding brackets etc. and now that you have it in use, how do you like it?

Also, anyone using the RETRAX Bed covers? How do you like them?

I know I should ask this question in the "Bed" section, but I believe I'll get more finished truck guys by asking here.
