| | | | Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 1,122 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 1,122 | As I recall the '49 Carter W-1 carbs were a one year model. Some years ago I needed one rebuilt and the kit was a special order item that was more costly than the other models.
I recently had the carb rebuilt for the '46, it was a model 616-S Carter W-1 carb and the cost was $150.
