So...the question remains:

What type of air cleaner was used on a 1966 250cid with a Rochester B (air horn 2-18")?

I can't believe it was an oil-filled, but that's all I see out there for sale that fits.

The 1966 service manual shows a paper element cleaner, but I can't find anything smaller than a 2-5/8" opening. (Actually, George has an adapter from a van, but even it is 2-5/16")

Nobody seems to have an adapter.

Any info out there?
