I haven't looked for an analog automotive voltmeter for half a century so I'm totaly unaware of what's out there.
Industreal supply like Grainger has square analog panel meters 0-15vdc made by Simpson but they are real pricy. If all you want to do is take a sampling of the output voltage then I'd opt for a cheap digital miltimeter. Other wise if you're looking for a permenent setup it looks like you're in for a lot of searching and a place to spend a big buck if you do find one.
