this is a truck you got man! no automatic interior light when the doors open!
the only thing that controls the interior light is turning the light sw knob 1 click - the rest of the knob rotation is for dimming the dash lights - they rarely work when ya first get'em, usually something gave out over the years and nobody bothered to fix it
