My 63 C10 is a nice driver but no show truck. I planned to make some body repairs and have painted next winter. Part of that was to include new oak in the box. The wood in there now is peeling and my plan was to remove, sand and refinish to get me through this year. The problem is that one board is split in the rail groove. It's almost separated from the board. Has anyone tried repairing a board? Epoxy and clamp. Maybe I should go with a wood kit now instead of waiting. The other part of my question -What should be used to stain and waterproof the boards. Thanks, OldsCool
