Lots of work on Brad's part ... pure enjoyment (and references) for you!

For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Feb 2012 Posts: 506 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2012 Posts: 506 | As you can tell by all the posts I'm having issues with my ammeter not reading correctly.
Has anyone seen a replacment voltmeter that will install in the factory ammeter location in the dash? All the voltmeters I've seen are round under the dash types. I love the look of the TF series dash insert and would like to keep it looking like it does.
For some reason I have a nagging thought in the back of my mind that someone makes replacement gauges to fit in the factory locations. A new voltmeter instead of ammeter, a better graduated oil pressure gauge and a temp gauge that actually shows temperature. Maybe I read it in Classic Trucks magazine a long time ago. I guess the old noodle isn't what it used to be.
Anyone have any knowledge/experience on this???
Thanks
Larry
