I've not been able to tell too much difference but have sometimes heard that it is harder to find parts for the gmc trucks. The thing that really struck me was the seller's description of a 256 inline six... as I understand it GMC only produced that engine for two years, and that was in the early 40s. Wonder if I'm looking for trouble if I buy a truck with an engine that rare. Thanks again for the info.
