I'm sure the transmission goes through all gears. I just leave it in I-4 and goes through all gears with no problems(unless thats not the correct way of shifting). I'm also running smaller tires 640 15s so im sure that's a big factor in mph. Il look into those Gm 12 bolt axles vs buying 3.38 gears Not cheap.
