the engine was rebuilt about 15 years ago. (block, crank, cam, pistons, rods, bearings, only)(.060) its been in a plastic bag. I took it completly apart cleaned and put back together. a 216 and 2 older 235s have been donating parts. the lifters were from the 216 1" solid and there is no tappered area. just a hole though it near the bottom. all the lifters were the same these was the best set.
