Tom-stay with the ether filled mechanical gauge. You can find ones at Jim Carter or some of the other suppliers as well as some Stovebolters. Jump on the swap page and go to parts wanted. I did that and got a spare tire carrier from Iron Chief which was super! Better than the electric one which I have 'cause I can't make the sender accurate to the electric gauge.
