There is a few companies that make a box that will convert the speedo cable to electronic pulse but they are a little pricey. It would be less expensive to change over from electronic to cable. I ran a search on the net and came up with tons of sites that tell you how to do the conversion. I converted my 700r4 from electronic to cbale.And the 4l60E is just basically a 700r4. Its really noit that hard to do and takes a couple of hours to do. It requires removing the tail shaft housing and changing some gears out. There is one company called PATC transmissions that had tons of stuff and the folks there are really good at answering questions that I had. And its not very expensive. I think the gears cost me around 30 bucks. And the speedo gear housing was like 10 bucks.
