don stocker Shop Shark D Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 2,544 osceola, wi	Unless your motor is a fresh overhaul with a new camshaft and lifters the ZDDP is not really an issue. As mentioned the oil today is far superior to oil that was available back when these engine were new.
