hi stovebolters. please help! i should have left well enough alone! i have 56 shev stepside took instrument cluster out to clean glass lens and get template of the shape so i can make billet aluminum insert like no limit sells. every thing worked before taking cluster out including starting. went to hook every wire behind cluster back up and no i have no power to anything. including not starting. complete wiring system dead.original 56 wiring.only other wiring disturbed is the horn relay and heater connection unhooked. if the connection for the heater was touching bare metal when the battery was hooked back up would this have fried igniton switch resulting in no power everywhere?cleaned connections and replaced wire ends that is under positive side of starter by the switch there still no power.any help or sugestions would be great ps. the black and red wires that go to the ampmeter which goes towards side and which goes to pass.side of gage? DOH!I should have marked them
