The exhaust valves are sodium filled & have rotaters on them. Through the years they have been switched around so one might have the lighter duty valves. The large opening straight down ex. manifold was used on the 1 1/2 ton & larger trucks. The 1 ton & smaller ex. manifold was near the same as the smaller engines.
