It's what I think was called the "Deluxe" heater. The truck is cut for cutouts for either type of heater. The one with the round heater core that costs a fortune to re-core is the one that mounts to the firewall only. That uses the 4-bladed fan that looks like a miniature radiator fan.
The other type mounts to the passenger side kick panel, just below the glove compartment, uses a rectangular heater core and a squirrel cage fan. That's the type I am restoring, since I don't want to spend $375 bucks on the round type of heater core.
Thank you for that part number. That would have saved me a lot of effort. But it's too late, I've already pulled one out of a parts truck and paid to have it separated from the old motor shaft. I guess I'll go with what I already have.
