I can probably offer some pointers in the 4BT and 6BT realm as well. I agree, a 6BT will be tight, however a 4BTAA with a tweaked fuel pump will put out 220hp all day long. more if you start with the 4.5 liter.

make sure you use the larger marine damper, the 4B shakes like a dog passing a peach pit at idle.
