For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jul 2012 Posts: 59 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jul 2012 Posts: 59 | I took the distributor out and turned the pump with a drill and oil came up to the rocker assembly. I put the distributor back in and made sure it was lined up. I went to start it up and now I have no oil pressure. I installed a oil pressure gauge and was getting 25psi on the gauge with the drill. Should I go from the t fitting on the lower part of the block to the top of the head with say brakeline to get oil up to he head? I also cleaned the strainer so I know its not plugged. | | |
