I'm trying to wire my horn thru the steering column, there is a wire sticking out of the bottom of the column and when I put a meter on it it shows grounded to the steering column, I assume this is the wire from the steering mast bearing but it shows no continuity to the bearing itself, is this the way it should be? There are two wires attached to the outside of the steering column, I assume these are the hot leads to the horns. None of these wires are attached, the PO had a outside button wired up. Can anyone explain exactly or apporx how the original horn worked? ie what contatced what to close the circuit.
