DA is the two wire plug that goes on other than one wire alternators. One wire from the DA plug went to + supply to exite (Could just loop to the output terminal)and the other the indicator lite. DA Type Will charge at idle, the one wire takes a few RPM's and both uses voltmeter rather than ampmeter gauge. Zeke
