Just want to say hello, and that sofar this site has provided loads of information already. I just bought a 1946 1.5 ton this past summer. Going to be a flat bed (Cab and chassis now) with a slight dove tail so I can haul small tractors on it.
A little bit about myself. I am a full time mechanic/engine builder by day and farmer by night. I work for a company called Katech, we specialize in gen IV GM LS engines (specifically Corvette) for road racing (durability). Along with classic vehicles, my brother and I have a collection of 16 or so tractors. John Deere's ranging from 1935 to 1955.
