Bowtietim, that is a great idea about brushing the letters, the light bulb didn't click till I read you post. I'll keep that in mind when it is time to touch up the letters.
The funny thing Tiny, the valve cover is hanging on the wall for the time being.
Lugnutz, I like the old oilbaths air filters. They have a distinct look to them. I am sure your friend will enjoy it.
