When you had the head rebuilt, what was done, if anything, to the valve guides? Were they replaced, were they knurled, or were they left as they were?
As Dave posted above, something has to give if you have sticking valves. Push rods are the weakest link and they are the first thing to bend/break if you have sticking valves.
